Kohler is expanding its operations with a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility spanning 1 million square feet on 200 acres in Casa Grande, AZ. We are in search of dedicated individuals to become part of our team. This position will be based at our Casa Grande facility once it is operational, and the role requires full onsite presence.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Production Mixing Specialist at Kohler Co., you will represent the Kohler brand and the Vikrell product line. Your primary responsibilities will include safely and efficiently operating, monitoring, adjusting, and cleaning all Sheet Molding Compound machinery and equipment. You will also maintain cleanliness and organization throughout your shift and motivate your colleagues to uphold the same standards. The position involves working 8-hour shifts for 5 days, which may include various physical activities such as sitting, standing, bending, twisting, and lifting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, a sense of urgency, and a passion for teamwork.

Your Responsibilities Include:

· Operate assigned machinery by making initial settings, monitoring operations, making necessary adjustments, and performing cleaning as required.

· Monitor relevant recording instruments, such as pressure and temperature gauges, and document readings as necessary. Report significant issues to the Supervisor or Management.

· Ensure proper execution of start-up and shutdown procedures for the entire operation as per established specifications.

· Address production performance issues and be prepared to provide explanations.

· Accurately tag and identify all products, including special trials and experimental materials.

· Conduct thorough quality and process checks as required.

· Complete and route production and process reports, including calibration sheets and catalyst usage.

· Assist in procuring necessary direct material supplies from the warehouse.

· Strive to meet and maintain established standards of productivity, quality, safety, and cleanliness in your assigned area during every shift.

· Operate materials handling equipment in accordance with plant safety regulations.

· Perform other related duties as directed by the Supervisor or Management.

· Complete and maintain training on all applicable SOPs, LOPs, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications:

· Must be at least 18 years of age.

· High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.

· Previous experience in a Materials Operator, Manufacturing Operator, or Production Line role is preferred.

· Strong work ethic and a positive attitude are essential.

· Ability to work 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts while engaging in various physical activities.

· Flexibility to adapt to shift changes as the plant progresses through different production phases.

· A positive, adaptable, and diligent mindset.

· Willingness to assist with tasks outside of your primary job responsibilities, especially during the transition from construction to operational phases.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

· Natural problem-solving abilities and a commitment to improving safety, quality, and productivity.
