Position Overview

The Senior Human Resources Advisor acts as a strategic partner and facilitator in the implementation of human resources policies and procedures for designated units. This role involves assisting with the rollout of new or revised HR policies and programs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Policy Interpretation: Provide guidance to unit management on the application of human resources policies.
2. Consultation: Offer expert advice and support on HR matters to various units.
3. Management Advisory: Analyze and advise on HR actions and issues, including compensation, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
4. Employee Relations: Collaborate with Employee Relations to manage formal issues, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
5. Liaison Role: Serve as the primary contact between unit management and HR regarding all HR-related matters.
6. Recruitment Collaboration: Work with the Talent Acquisition team to address recruitment needs and support onboarding initiatives.
7. Additional Duties: Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

Educational Background: A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: A minimum of five to seven years of relevant experience in human resources.

Preferred Qualifications

Certifications: PHR, SHRM-CP, SPHR, or SHRM-SCP certifications are preferred.
Advanced Skills: Proficiency in office administration, strong communication abilities, and familiarity with HRIS systems.

Compensation

Salary Range: $61,759 - $83,991 annually.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week; Hybrid work model.
