Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled HR Coordinator to join our team at SMI Imaging LLC. As a key member of our HR department, you will provide guidance, advice, and support on human resources matters to leaders, employees, and other stakeholders within our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide transactional support for HR programs, processes, and implementations, including employee programs, benefits enrollment, onboarding, acquisitions, and workforce adjustments.
  • Answer HR-related calls and emails, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Manage employee information, reporting, modification, verification, and compliance, maintaining confidentiality and accuracy at all times.
  • Ensure external employment screening and background check systems are compliant, accurate, timely, and complete, with regular audits and maintenance.
  • Identify and correct incomplete, improperly formatted, or incorrect data through final review and approval of system workflow.
  • Support HR programs and events, including scheduling, monitoring, and reporting on effectiveness.
  • Develop HR forms, templates, and documents, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
  • Process HRIS data, transactional system entries, and reports, supporting HR, Payroll, and executive leader requests.
  • Review and address HR inquiries, forwarding complex or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment law, maintaining knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources and employment law.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 1-3 years of human resource experience.
  • Ability to keep pace in a fast-moving and dynamic business environment.
  • Experience working with and supporting teams in field and corporate settings, multi-site, and multi-state locations.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, HRIS, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% within designed field locations.
  • Basic knowledge of state and local laws as it relates to FMLA, ADA, EEO, FLSA, and other applicable regulations.
