Position Summary

The Leasing Consultant serves as the primary sales representative for the community, engaging with both prospective and current residents to facilitate property tours, provide detailed information about available units, process rental applications, secure lease agreements, and assist with lease renewals as necessary. This role is essential in ensuring compliance with Fair Housing Laws and company policies while striving to meet client expectations aligned with financial objectives.

Compensation:

Hourly Rate: $18 - $22

Key Responsibilities
  1. Client Engagement: Uphold the owner's vision in daily operations to align with client goals.
  2. Effective Communication: Foster professional relationships with applicants, residents, vendors, and guests.
  3. Leasing and Occupancy: Maintain occupancy rates as per owner expectations, employ effective leasing strategies, and assist in market analysis.
  4. Documentation Management: Ensure accurate resident files and uphold confidentiality standards.
  5. Risk Management: Adhere to risk management protocols and report incidents promptly.
  6. Facility Oversight: Assist residents with maintenance requests and ensure timely follow-ups.
  7. Policy Enforcement: Enforce community rules and regulations consistently.
Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

  • Familiarity with affordable housing programs.
  • Minimum of one year experience in a related role.
  • High School diploma or equivalent; a degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License and good driving record.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office and property management software.
