Job Summary

This position is responsible for managing individual donations and major gifts, encompassing all aspects from stewardship to cultivation. You will work closely with executive leadership to track and support individual and major gift initiatives, contribute to donor events, and ensure the smooth operation of our fundraising efforts.

Job Duties
  • Develop and implement a strategic moves management plan for cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding major donors and funders within your assigned portfolio.
  • Engage with donors through personalized communication strategies, including phone calls, emails, written correspondence, and face-to-face meetings, to foster strong relationships and increase donor commitment.
  • Ensure accurate acknowledgment and tracking of all gifts received from donors, coordinating appropriate recognition efforts in collaboration with leadership.
  • Collaborate effectively with the development team to create and execute long-term fundraising strategies that drive revenue growth across various channels.
  • Work closely with the fiscal team to ensure accurate monthly reconciliations of all gifts recorded within the donor and accounting database.
  • Provide logistical support for fundraising events, including but not limited to the annual gala, 4K4Charity Run, and Work Connections event.
  • Support the Board of Directors in their fundraising endeavors and lead board development initiatives focused on individual donor cultivation.
  • Maintain the accuracy and up-to-date status of the donor database.
Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will possess a strong understanding of moves management strategies, major gifts fundraising, corporate and foundation giving, event planning, individual donor stewardship, and in-kind giving. Experience utilizing Give Lively, Auctria, Little Green Light, or similar CRM platforms is highly desirable.

A Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or equivalent experience, is required.
