Reporting to the EVP of Clinical Outreach, the Clinical Outreach Representative will be tasked with cultivating and sustaining relationships with referral sources while establishing a robust pipeline of potential new clients. Collaboration with the clinical team is essential to ensure that outreach efforts align with our mission of expanding access to autism services with minimal waiting periods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Building and nurturing relationships with referral sources, including physicians, neuropsychologists, parent advocates, community organizations, and pediatric medical groups.
  • Developing a proactive pipeline of potential new clients and providing regular updates to management and clinical teams.
  • Assessing leads generated from marketing initiatives and referral sources to identify new client opportunities.
  • Coordinating clinic tours and events for potential referral sources.
  • Maintaining knowledge of regional health insurance options to assist caregivers with service financing and lead qualification.
  • Overseeing the intake process, including gathering demographic, insurance, consent, and other relevant information from prospective clients.
  • Collaborating with internal benefits coordinators to verify coverage, obtain authorizations, and finalize service contracts.
  • Engaging in public relations activities, fostering strategic relationships with state and community agencies, and participating in regional events.
  • Supporting the Marketing department in the creation of promotional materials, including brochures and presentation decks.
Qualifications

Education/Experience and Other Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a business development or sales role within the pharmaceutical, medical device, or healthcare services sectors.
  • Willingness to travel frequently, spending approximately 75% of the time on the road.
  • Established connections within the pediatrician network are advantageous.
  • Ability to maintain a clean background, drug screenings, and driving record.
  • Bilingual: English and Spanish required.
Essential Skills
  • Familiarity with ABA (autism care), early childhood education, or social services is a plus.
  • Capability to dedicate at least 50% of time to seeking new referrals.
  • Experience in healthcare settings.
  • Client service expertise with a strong understanding of professional communication etiquette.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to collaborate and adapt to various circumstances.
  • Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
  • High energy and quick comprehension of concepts.
