Position Summary:
- Serves as the primary contact for individuals seeking SSVF services
- Addresses questions related to eligibility criteria for the program
- Works in conjunction with the local team to support veterans throughout the intake procedure
- Conducts data entry and maintains updates within the Electronic Health Record system
- Organizes and keeps both electronic and physical applicant documentation
- Develops and follows an office intake schedule
- Participates in applicant processing meetings, offering relevant information
- Tracks and reports on both eligible and ineligible applicants on a weekly basis
- Establishes and nurtures partnerships with agency collaborators
- Engages in training, supervision, and team-building activities
Requirements:
- A minimum of a four-year degree or 2 - 4 years of pertinent experience
- Experience working with vulnerable populations
- Strong organizational, supervisory, and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse groups
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Bilingual in Spanish is preferred
- Peer Support Specialist certification is a plus
