Personal Lines Account Manager

A dynamic and customer-focused individual is sought to join our team as a Personal Lines Account Manager. This role requires a self-motivated and organized professional with excellent communication skills to manage existing client relationships and develop new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with policy updates, quotes, payments, and inquiries, ensuring seamless customer experiences.
  • Handle customer calls and correspondence for new or existing insurance policies and claims, providing timely and effective resolutions.
  • Collaborate with new clients or support producers to understand needs, research policy options, and finalize coverage details, driving business growth and client satisfaction.
  • Schedule appointments or client calls to review existing policies, assess coverage needs, and bind renewals, ensuring timely and accurate policy administration.
  • Resolve product or service issues, expedite corrections, and ensure resolution through follow-up, maintaining high client satisfaction levels.
  • Review policies, verify accuracy, and facilitate corrections between clients and carriers, ensuring policy integrity and compliance.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions in the agency management system, providing valuable insights for business development and client engagement.
  • Collaborate with team members, provide expertise, and participate in meetings, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and professional growth.
  • Stay current with Continuing Education (CE) requirements and actively engage in ongoing education, remaining informed about industry developments, new products, legislation, coverages, and technology to continually enhance knowledge and performance.
Qualifications:
  • Hold the required state insurance license with a minimum of one year of personal lines insurance account management experience.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of insurance products, rating procedures, and industry operations, with a customer-focused approach and excellent communication skills.
  • Possess a sense of urgency, attention to detail, organization, and multitasking abilities, with excellent time management skills and proficiency in technology, including agency management systems.
  • Be people-oriented, professionally assertive, and adept at handling difficult situations with customers, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional client experiences.
