AWS Cloud Solutions Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team at Amazon Web Services, Inc. As a key member of our Worldwide Specialist Team, you will be responsible for leading the global GTM plan for AWS Managed Services (AMS).
Key Responsibilities- Represent the voice of the customer and bring customer feedback to product teams to influence feature development and future product roadmap.
- Provide advanced technical knowledge to your domain-aligned GTM teams to unblock our customers' largest and most critical business challenges.
- Lead technical pre-sales conversations with AWS customers and help them define cloud operating models that leverage AWS services and align to AWS operational and security best practices.
- Act as a thought leader sharing best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures, and public-speaking events.
- Partner with Business Development teams to define the technical components of best-in-class GTM concepts, solutions, and initiatives.
- Develop and support an AWS internal community of technical subject matter experts worldwide.
Our team is part of the Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO), which is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest-growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers, including public sector. We work backwards from our customer's most complex and business-critical problems to build and execute go-to-market plans that turn AWS ideas into multi-billion-dollar businesses.
Requirements- 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
- 7+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
- 2+ years of technical experiences in cloud operations, cloud governance, or managed services.
- History of successful technical consulting and/or architecture engagements with large-scale customers or enterprises.
- Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
- Familiarity with common enterprise services and working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT Management, and developers.
