Role Overview:

The Dispensary Associate, reporting to the Dispensary Manager of Retail Operations, plays a crucial role in supporting daily dispensary functions, contributing to a patient-focused team, and achieving iAnthus's business objectives. This position is responsible for upholding iAnthus's policies and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Daily Operations & Compliance:

  • Engage with and educate patients in a welcoming manner
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of patient intake forms
  • Assist in qualifying patients for financial assistance programs
  • Maintain adherence to local and state regulations
  • Perform general administrative tasks, including record-keeping and correspondence
  • Provide timely patient feedback to management
  • Keep accurate records of patient interactions and transactions
  • Participate in daily team meetings to align on objectives
  • Deliver compassionate and exceptional patient service consistently
  • Engage in monthly inventory assessments

Training & Development:

  • Ensure all patients receive a warm and helpful greeting, creating a positive experience
  • Stay informed on HIPAA and confidentiality standards
  • Be proficient in inventory management and point-of-sale systems
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and appropriate dosages
  • Ensure compliance with iAnthus policies and state regulations
  • Review and enhance patient educational resources
  • Participate in quarterly team development meetings

Sales & Business Growth:

  • Analyze daily sales and best practices with team members to meet goals
  • Receive training on patient services, including intake and product knowledge
  • Engage in daily meetings to ensure consistent messaging
  • Provide outstanding and compassionate service to patients

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license
  • Experience in retail, hospitality, or patient services is preferred
  • Availability for a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
  • Strong communication skills and basic math proficiency
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Strong organizational and decision-making capabilities
  • Computer literacy; experience with POS systems is a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to pass a background check as per state guidelines

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work a minimum of 8 hours a day with rotating shifts
  • Flexible availability for nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
  • Capability to perform repetitive motions throughout the workday
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Willingness to work in various environmental conditions
