Your Profile

The ideal candidate for the Project Coordinator position is someone who excels in problem-solving and thrives in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities include assisting in the preparation of estimates, proposals, technical documentation, training, and engineering support for various life safety systems. The role also encompasses tasks such as permitting, scheduling, procurement, device inventory, project initiation, document management, and meeting documentation. This position is essential for tracking outstanding items and managing issues effectively. A strong focus on delivering high-quality projects within budget and timelines is crucial. The successful candidate will possess resilience and the ability to influence outcomes, navigating challenges with ease.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and interpret contract specifications and project scope
  • Conduct site visits and assist in the preparation of designs and estimates as needed
  • Manage construction data entry and documentation, including RFIs and submittals, under the guidance of Project Managers
  • Support assigned Project Managers in overseeing project efficiency, costs, and adherence to quality and safety standards in line with company policies
  • Assist with project administration, including change orders and reporting to ensure compliance with contractual obligations
  • Facilitate subcontractor coordination as necessary
  • Foster relationships with existing and prospective clients
  • Help establish and maintain project deadlines

Essential Qualifications

  • Prior experience in administrative or coordination roles
  • Ability to successfully complete pre-employment screenings (drug, background, and driving history)
  • Possession of a valid enhanced driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant bachelor's degree
  • PMP certification
  • Eligibility to obtain a U.S. Government clearance

Salary range is $65,000 - $80,000 for well-qualified candidates.
