Role Responsibilities:

Raft, a premier technology solutions provider, is actively seeking a Lead Cloud Security Engineer to advance our secure software development and deployment capabilities. This position demands a profound comprehension of DevSecOps methodologies, cloud security, and ongoing innovation. The ideal candidate will possess a robust foundation in DevOps and security principles, emphasizing the creation of efficient, secure, and scalable cloud-native applications. Key Qualifications:

  • Expertise in DevOps Methodologies: Extensive experience with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC) practices.
  • Thorough Knowledge of Cloud Security Principles: Proficient in secure architecture design, configuration management, and maintaining the integrity of cloud environments.
  • Proficient in Kubernetes Management: Proven ability to oversee containerized applications utilizing Kubernetes.
  • Skilled in Cloud-Native Application Development: Experience in crafting and deploying scalable and resilient cloud-native applications.
  • Proactive Security Risk Management: Ability to identify and address security vulnerabilities before they impact the system.
  • Eligibility for U.S. DoD Common Access Card: Must fulfill security clearance requirements for access to sensitive information.
  • U.S. Citizenship Required
  • Security+ Certification: Must obtain Security+ within the first 90 days of employment with Raft.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA): Acknowledgment of advanced knowledge and expertise in managing Kubernetes environments.
  • Advanced Knowledge of Cloud and Security Technologies: Candidates with in-depth understanding of the latest cloud technologies, security practices, and innovative solutions to complex challenges are preferred.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance.

Work Environment:

  • On-site collaboration in a customer-focused environment.
  • May involve occasional travel.

Compensation:

  • Salary Range: $110,000 - $180,000
  • Compensation is determined based on a candidate's extensive experience, demonstrated skills, and proven capabilities.
