Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize over 7 years of experience in cloud architecture and automation engineering.
  • Lead initiatives on major cloud platforms, particularly Amazon Web Services (AWS), with a focus on IaaS, PaaS, or Serverless models.
  • Employ scripting and automation skills, particularly in Python, Bash, or PowerShell, for efficient operations.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with Linux operating systems and command-line interfaces.
  • Implement infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Adhere to security best practices for cloud implementations.
  • Maintain an active TS/SCI clearance and be prepared for a polygraph examination.
  • Possess a high school diploma or GED.
  • Achieve a DoD Directive 8570 or 8140 Series IAT Level II Certification, including Security+, within 60 days of employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in designing and implementing secure cloud infrastructures using automation tools.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting cloud deployments through Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, operations teams, and stakeholders.
  • Hold certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or GCP Professional Cloud Architect.
  • Possess Terraform Certified Associate or Ansible Certified Professional certifications.

Clearance Requirements:

Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is mandatory.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including location, education, skills, competencies, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is between $75,600.00 and $172,000.00 annually.
