Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at AdventHealth Riverview. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing sterile radiographic procedures and administering contrast agents with precision and care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a full range of IR procedures, utilizing knowledge and skills for age-specific factors necessary to ensure safe and effective care for patients of all ages.
  • Utilize proper positioning criteria and technical exposure factors to ensure high-quality images.
  • Ensure accurate patient demographics and RT/LT annotation when post-processing images.
  • Assist physicians with sterile procedures, anticipating their needs and ensuring aseptic techniques are observed.
  • Remain up-to-date with the latest technologies and protocols, and participate in ongoing education and training to maintain expertise.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
