Community Impact:

· AdventHealth is enhancing healthcare services in southern Hillsborough County with the establishment of a new hospital, set to open soon.

· The facility will feature 82 beds initially, with plans for future expansion.

· This significant investment will also include a Medical Office Building, ensuring accessible healthcare for the community.

· A variety of healthcare services will be available, including emergency care, cardiovascular services, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver exceptional patient care within the imaging department. Conduct high-quality imaging and examinations while being attuned to patient needs. Adhere to safe radiation practices and demonstrate leadership qualities, serving as a mentor to fellow technologists. Act as a clinical resource for staff and ensure adherence to current best practices.

Value Proposition:

· Execute imaging procedures while ensuring safety for all involved.

· Generate quality images efficiently and accurately.

· Prepare patients for examinations.

· Provide clear information and support to patients and their families regarding procedures, addressing both physical and emotional needs.

· Assist patients during examinations and ensure proper positioning.

· Monitor patients and equipment throughout procedures, documenting any unusual occurrences and the patient's condition.

Qualifications:

Essential Skills and Experience:

· Minimum of two years in Interventional Radiology Tech roles, with prior leadership experience preferred.

· High School Diploma or equivalent.

· Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiology, Vascular-Interventional Radiology, or Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiology is required within a specified timeframe for new hires.

· Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

· Surgical Assistant or Surgical Technologist certification required upon hire for relevant staff.
