Work Schedule: Full-Time

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Community Impact:

· AdventHealth is enhancing healthcare services, innovation, and advanced technology in southern Hillsborough County through a new hospital initiative.

· The upcoming AdventHealth Riverview hospital will feature 82 beds initially, with future expansion capabilities.

· This significant investment also includes a Medical Office Building designed for convenient access to specialized care.

· A diverse range of healthcare services will be available, including emergency, cardiovascular, digestive, urology, orthopedic, and women's health services.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver exceptional patient care within the medical imaging department. Execute high-quality imaging procedures while being attentive to patient needs. Adhere to safe radiation practices. Exhibit leadership qualities and serve as a role model for fellow technologists. Act as a clinical resource for unit personnel and ensure compliance with current standards of practice. Provide leadership and support to the imaging team during shifts.

Value Added to the Team:

· Conduct imaging procedures while ensuring safety for yourself, patients, and others involved. Comply with all regulations regarding radiation safety, minimizing exposure to the lowest possible levels.

· Generate quality images in a thorough, precise, and timely manner.

· Prepare patients for their examinations.

· Offer information and guidance to patients and their families regarding procedures, addressing their physical and emotional needs.

· Assist patients during examinations and ensure proper positioning.

· Monitor patients and equipment throughout procedures, documenting any unusual occurrences and noting the patient's condition.

Qualifications Required:

· Minimum of two years of experience in Interventional Radiology Tech roles; prior leadership experience is preferred.

· High School Diploma or GED.

· For facilities facing personnel shortages, certification must be obtained within 24 months of hire; otherwise, certification is required: Registered Technologist in Radiology, Vascular-Interventional Radiology, or Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiology - R.T. (R)(VI) (ARRT) or R.T. (R)(CV) (ARRT).

· BLS Certification.

· Surgical Assistant or Surgical Technologist Registry upon hire unless performing Surgical Assistant duties under another active license, certification, or registration (required for employed staff only).
