Work Schedule: Full-Time
Position Responsibilities:
In this role, you will lead and support Radiology technologists in conducting imaging procedures in accordance with hospital protocols. You will be responsible for transmitting images for diagnostic evaluation and ensuring that the hospital's information systems are updated with the status of these examinations. You will adhere to age-specific guidelines while embodying the principles of AdventHealth. Your commitment to exceptional customer service and respectful relationships will be essential. You will also provide feedback and review Radiology exams as necessary.
Your Contributions to the Team:
As a leader, you will develop and implement strategic marketing initiatives and budgets aimed at achieving branding, volume, market share, and service line objectives. You will address customer service challenges promptly and courteously, maintaining open communication with your supervisor.
Proficiency in the operation of imaging equipment and adherence to departmental policies and procedures are crucial. You will monitor and support patients during procedures in line with established protocols and collaborate closely with on-duty radiologists to ensure a seamless patient flow.
Your leadership will focus on staff engagement, identifying growth and development opportunities through regular interactions with team members. You will actively participate in initiatives aimed at enhancing patient experiences and employee satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Associate's degree in a healthcare-related field
- Minimum of two years of experience as a Radiology technologist
- Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(R)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Valid state license where applicable
