About the Team:

Our Business Development Representatives (BDRs) Team is a dynamic group of over 70 BDRs across North America, supporting over 300 sales reps in various market segments. They are responsible for generating new business through outbound prospecting and lead follow-up, leveraging their passion for technology and healthy competition to create sales opportunities.

About the Role:

As a Business Development Representative, you will create and prioritize strategic target account lists within a defined territory, working closely with field sales executives and management. You will leverage strong prospecting and business development skills to generate incremental revenue opportunities through outbound calling and lead generation, utilizing knowledge of UKG products and solutions to enhance client interest and communicate the value of our solutions. You will partner with the field sales team to promote UKG's business initiatives and enhance customer knowledge of our products, programs, and services. You will employ expert probing skills to expand contacts or define new product requirements within a prospect and/or customer, increasing revenue and teaming with field sales. You will maintain expected metrics of outbound calls and targeted emails to increase the number of live conversations per day, providing qualified lead information to the field sales organization to assist in account progression or sales pipeline acceleration.

About You:

Basic Qualifications:

2+ years' professional experience as a BDR/SDR with strong outbound experience and one additional year of general professional experience. 1 year experience utilizing all pertinent social media tools to improve prospecting success. Proficient in using various software tools. Able to work in an assigned UKG office three days a week based on the territory listed in the title.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of the enterprise software industry, specifically HCM or Workforce Management. Familiar or certified in a common sales methodology.
