Position Summary
The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing various manufacturing processes, including assembly, material shaping, processing, and packaging. Key responsibilities include:
- Planning, directing, and monitoring production activities to ensure compliance with specifications, schedules, and quality standards.
- Collaborating with Manufacturing Engineering, Supply & Logistics, and Sales to develop effective production schedules and allocate resources efficiently.
- Managing production line maintenance and minimizing downtime to enhance operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Supervising team members, including performance evaluations and training initiatives.
- Establishing daily objectives, organizing workflows, and providing guidance to achieve team goals.
- Utilizing prior experience to address challenges within established guidelines and recommending improvements to policies and procedures.
- Maintaining regular communication with management and occasionally with executive leadership.
- Performing additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience; OR a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
