Quality Assurance Supervisor

The Quality Control Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and directing the quality assurance and control activities within a manufacturing setting. This role ensures that all products adhere to the company's rigorous quality standards and comply with relevant industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of quality inspectors and technicians.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and identify training opportunities to enhance team effectiveness.
- Establish, implement, and uphold quality control protocols, ensuring alignment with company policies and industry standards.
- Analyze quality metrics and reports to detect trends, defects, and areas needing improvement.
- Investigate and resolve quality-related issues, collaborating with production and engineering teams to enact corrective measures.
- Communicate quality challenges and solutions to management and other pertinent departments.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for process enhancements, working with cross-functional teams to implement changes that improve product quality and operational efficiency.
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of quality control systems and recommend improvements.
- Maintain precise records of quality inspections, tests, and audits.
- Ensure all quality documentation is current and adheres to industry standards.
- Guarantee compliance with industry regulations, customer specifications, and company quality benchmarks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related discipline. Equivalent experience may be accepted.
- Minimum of 3 years in a quality control or assurance role, with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
- In-depth knowledge of quality control processes, standards, and tools, ideally within the commercial vehicle or automotive sector.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation. Certification in Six Sigma is preferred.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in quality control software and tools.
- Exceptional communication and reporting abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in the commercial vehicle manufacturing sector.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Job Types:

Compensation:
$52.00 per hour
Expected Hours:
40-60 hours per week
Schedule:
- 8-hour shifts
- Monday to Friday
