Position Overview
Deliver exceptional and professional service to clients that encompasses: sales, inventory management, order fulfillment, pricing strategies, product inquiries, promotional initiatives, and comprehensive customer support. Responsibilities also include maintaining the showroom through stocking, organization, and cleanliness as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers in a courteous and professional manner.
- Provide timely and respectful service by understanding customer needs and responding appropriately.
- Efficiently handle customer warranty claims and credit returns, utilizing extensive vendor knowledge. Complete necessary documentation and process returns in line with established procedures.
- Suggest additional products to customers and accurately input sales orders into the Sales Order Entry System. Process payments in accordance with company cash handling policies.
- Respond to incoming customer calls, offering a full range of customer service including quotes, order taking, product research, and general inquiries.
- Ensure optimal product flow in the showroom by stocking items, organizing displays, and maintaining cleanliness in line with merchandising guidelines.
- Reconcile daily sales transactions with payments received, adhering to the company's cash handling protocols.
- Identify and report obsolete, slow-moving, or damaged inventory to the Store Manager for markdown and clearance.
- Maintain a tidy and professional appearance at all times.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge and improve customer service effectiveness.
- Actively promote monthly specials and promotions by reaching out to customers to boost sales of featured items.
- Notify supervisors of busy showroom conditions to minimize customer wait times.
- Carry out additional tasks as assigned to uphold our commitment to exceptional customer service through effective teamwork.
