Role Overview:

The Cloud Security Specialist will play a pivotal role in shaping our cloud security strategies. This position demands a blend of technical acumen and leadership skills, as you will collaborate with various stakeholders to implement robust security measures across our cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive cloud security architecture tailored to our organizational needs.
  • Collaborate with IT teams and business leaders to ensure that cloud security frameworks align with operational requirements.
  • Oversee the integration of security controls within cloud projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Lead cloud security monitoring efforts, identifying and responding to potential security incidents.
  • Work in conjunction with the Security Operations team to enhance visibility and threat detection capabilities in cloud environments.
  • Continuously refine and enhance the cloud Security Operations Framework, addressing policy challenges and service level agreements.
  • Conduct threat assessments and develop use cases for effective cloud security monitoring.
  • Manage the configuration and upkeep of cloud security automation tools and incident response mechanisms.
  • Create insightful reports and dashboards to communicate cloud security metrics to senior management.
  • Foster positive relationships with stakeholders to promote a culture of security awareness.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five years of experience in cloud security and operations.
  • Proficient understanding of cloud security controls, including CNAPP, CSPM, DSPM, CASB, and SIEM.
  • Extensive knowledge of cloud security methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess security risks and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, leveraging expertise to drive security initiatives.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field is preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
