Position Overview: As a Cloud Security Specialist at Dun & Bradstreet, you will be instrumental in safeguarding the security and compliance of our cloud infrastructure, particularly within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Your role will involve designing, implementing, and upholding security protocols to protect our cloud assets and data, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a secure cloud environment.Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize your extensive expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to evaluate and improve the security posture of our cloud infrastructure.
  • Configure and implement GCP security services, including Identity and Access Management (IAM), Security Command Center, VPC Service Controls, among others.
  • Stay informed about GCP security best practices and propose enhancements to maintain a secure environment.
  • Employ Terraform to automate the provisioning and management of cloud resources while adhering to security standards.
  • Work in collaboration with DevOps and engineering teams to ensure that infrastructure code is secure by design.
  • Develop and sustain security monitoring solutions to identify and respond to security threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Assist in achieving and maintaining regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2) by implementing necessary security controls and documentation.
  • Provide mentorship and training to team members on cloud security best practices.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Exhibit adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding as a Cloud Security Engineer (cloud security principles, best practices, and compliance frameworks), with a strong focus on GCP and Terraform.
  • Proven track record of developing Infrastructure as Code (IAC) using Terraform.
  • GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer certification is highly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, DLP).
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, etc.).
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively.
