Job Title: System Administrator

GovCIO is seeking a highly skilled System Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT infrastructure team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our computer systems, including operating systems, software, and hardware.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain the integrity of our computer systems, including networked and stand-alone configurations.
  • Upgrade systems and servers as required to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with support teams, help desks, and customers to resolve technical issues and implement changes to procedures.
  • Plan and implement network and system security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.
  • Monitor and analyze system performance to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 6-9 years of experience in a related field.
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of computer systems, networks, and software.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
