Job Summary

The Nisqually Indian Tribe is seeking a highly skilled Senior System Administrator to join their team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a start-up clinic environment, The Nisqually Generations Healing Clinic (MAT), and contribute to the development of their IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain the tribe's IT infrastructure, including servers, storage systems, and network architecture.
  • Manage and supervise the installation and maintenance of Windows Server Operating Systems, VMware, and other related technologies.
  • Develop and implement disaster recovery and backup procedures to ensure business continuity.
  • Collaborate with vendors to resolve technical issues and negotiate costs.
  • Provide technical support and training to staff on hardware and software applications.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technological developments and recommend improvements to the tribe's IT infrastructure.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5 years of experience in server and storage hardware, software, including VMware, IMB Server and Storage Systems, Windows, Linux.
  • VOIP technology experience, preferably Cisco.
  • MCSE Certification preferred.
  • VMWare VCP Certification preferred.
