Key Responsibilities:

  • Setup, program, and operate CNC machinery.
  • Plan and execute various machining operations using numerical control machines, including mills, lathes, routers, and saws, to fabricate plastic or metal components according to precise specifications.
  • Interpret complex drawings, programming sheets, and process documentation to ascertain the required tasks.
  • Conduct diverse operations on numerical control machines.
  • Perform related tasks to achieve tight tolerances.
  • Review setup sheets and specifications to establish the sequence and dimensions of the finished product.
  • Attach fixtures to machines following setup guidelines.
  • Manipulate controls to initiate machine operations.
  • Monitor machine performance to identify malfunctions.
  • Carry out various inspection and gauging tasks to maintain quality standards.
  • Measure components to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Report discrepancies to the Supervisor.
  • Adjust machinery to meet specifications.
  • Clean machine components and perform maintenance tasks.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous experience in machine operation is essential.

Certifications:

CNC machine certification is advantageous. Forklift certification is mandatory.
