Key Responsibilities
  • Machine Operations: Operate and maintain various types of machinery, including CNC machines, to produce high-quality parts.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications and standards.
  • Setup and Operation: Set up and operate machinery according to drawings, method sheets, and other technical documents.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Training and Development: Train and mentor other team members on machinery operation and maintenance.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing or machining, with a minimum of 1 year of experience reading and interpreting mechanical blueprints.
  • Skills: Proficiency in operating CNC machines, ability to read and interpret technical documents, and strong attention to detail.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 35 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in machine shop or aerospace engine machining.
  • Education: Education and/or training in machine shop operations.
  • Skills: Proficiency in CNC and manual machine operations, basic programming knowledge, and experience in a self-directed team environment.
