Position Summary:

The Accounting Supervisor will be responsible for managing the daily functions of the accounting division, which encompasses various critical areas such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Sales and Use Tax Reporting, Account Reconciliations, Accruals, Expense Reporting, Census Filings, and Inventory Management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct the daily activities of the accounting team, ensuring efficient processing of financial transactions.
  • Develop and enforce accounting policies and procedures to meet compliance standards.
  • Guarantee the precision and promptness of financial data for management and corporate reporting.
  • Assist in the month-end closing process and the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Work collaboratively with Manufacturing and Materials Management to strengthen financial oversight.
  • Supervise the Accounts Receivable Coordinator and aid in credit management and invoicing processes.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, accompanied by at least five years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in advanced Excel functions, including V-lookups and pivot tables.
  • Experience in a manufacturing setting is advantageous.

  • Capacity to manage multiple priorities and effectively organize tasks.
  • Excellent decision-making, communication, and teamwork abilities.
