Job Overview

BBSI Southern California is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our manufacturing team as a Production Laborer. This entry-level position offers a unique opportunity to learn and grow with a dynamic company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate work to meet production requirements, ensuring efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
  • Handle and transport wood and glass pieces of varying sizes, weighing up to 50 pounds, to different areas of production.
  • Perform a range of duties, including assembly, quality control, and machine operation, utilizing hand and power tools such as drills, staple guns, and chop saws.
  • Palletize, load, and unload products for delivery, adhering to shipping instructions and ensuring accurate packaging.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production goals and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Perform essential housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Utilize strong communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues and management.
  • Read and interpret measurements to ensure accurate production.
  • Stand, walk, stoop, and reach continuously, as well as push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds, throughout the workday.
Requirements and Preferences
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, particularly with cement, glass, or wood, is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing production demands.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of quality control.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret measurements and instructions.
