Position: Production Team Associate
Compensation: $19.00 to $21.00 based on experience

Company: Luxfer Superform specializes in the Superforming of Aluminum, Titanium, and Magnesium alloys, serving as a premier supplier to leading OEMs in various industries, including Aerospace.

Role Summary

The Production Team Associate plays a crucial role in supporting manufacturing operations by engaging with a diverse range of machinery, including hot forming presses, forklifts, bandsaws, grit blasters, plasma cutters, and more. This position is integral to the production of Superplastically formed (SPF) metal components, encompassing tasks such as surface finishing, assembly, and quality inspection.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare materials for SPF processes, including pulling and shearing materials to specified dimensions.
  • Handle the preparation of formed components for subsequent operations like plasma cutting and trimming.
  • Utilize various hand and stationary tools to achieve precision finishes on aluminum parts.
  • Operate forklifts to transport materials and tools as needed.
  • Complete production and quality documentation in compliance with AS9100 standards.
  • Interpret and follow detailed manufacturing instructions to produce components that align with specifications.
  • Execute daily tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
  • Identify and report any issues related to materials or machinery that may impact product quality.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
  • Assist in shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accurate verification and documentation of parts.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in work hours and shifts as required.
  • Comply with all regulatory safety requirements in the manufacturing sector.
  • Arrive punctually for scheduled shifts, in accordance with company attendance policies.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred; this role is suitable for entry to mid-level candidates.
  • Familiarity with machinery such as hot forming hydraulic presses and CNC machines is advantageous.
  • Ability to read blueprints and knowledge of inspection tools is preferred.
  • Understanding of safety regulations in a manufacturing environment is essential.
