Job Summary

The Business Development Intern will play a key role in driving regional sales growth and supporting the Business Operations teams across the US. This position will provide direct support to the sales team, focusing on developing new leads, identifying new opportunities, and collaborating with various teams to ensure all proposal deadlines are met.

Key Responsibilities

- Aid sales team in achieving planned revenue growth and delivering mutual profitability for SFE and school district partners.
- Print, produce, purchase, and ship promo items and marketing materials for tradeshows/sales endeavors.
- Maintain adequate par levels of marketing materials/equipment.
- Collaborate with various teams to ensure all proposal deadlines are met.
- Manage and track sales activities through CRM software (Salesforce).
- Build reports, dashboards, create record pages and fields, and manage the pipeline report.
- Aid in scheduling and organization of presentations, pre-bid conferences and conference calls.
- Assist in the proposal production and management process.

Requirements

- Pursuing Bachelor's degree in Business/Communication.
- Computer skills: MS Office-Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher.
- InDesign and CRM experience preferred.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work in a sitting position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours).
- Ability to physically lift, reach, bend and stoop frequently lift up to 30 pounds.
