Technical Training Specialist

Overview:
Becton, Dickinson and Company (BD) is a global medical technology leader that develops innovative solutions for the healthcare industry. As a Technical Training Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our customers by providing high-level technical and application training on our instrumented platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive user training on BD instrumented platforms to achieve customer competency, optimal utilization, and self-sufficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop training programs and departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Provide technical input to National and World-Wide Marketing Managers
- Assist local, regional, and national sales associates and management during the sale of BD instrumented platforms
Requirements:
- B.S. degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, Biological Sciences, or Molecular/Microbiology advanced degree desirable
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience in a clinical molecular experience in a hospital or reference laboratory setting
- Ability to travel domestically and reside in Denver, CO (preferred), Salt Lake City, UT, or Boise, ID
- Familiarity with regulatory agencies (i.e. CAP, CLSI, Cumitech, CLIA) and quality procedures are highly desirable
Salary Range: $62,600 - $103,300 USD Annual
