Heavy Duty Truck Maintenance Specialist

Gpac is seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Truck Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing heavy trucks and components.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in heavy equipment maintenance and repair, with a focus on technical skills and problem-solving abilities. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues on heavy trucks and components
  • Maintain a high level of technical knowledge and expertise in areas such as hydraulics, electrical systems, and engine repair
  • Participate in training programs and workshops to stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives

Requirements
  • Technical School Training or equivalent work experience (5+ years)
  • Preferred Experience in heavy equipment/trucking dealership or fleet setting
  • Own Tools required
  • Strong Mechanical Skills, including hydraulics and electrical
  • Team Player with good communication skills
  • Clean Driving Record and ability to pass a drug test
  • Physical Capability to lift 50 lbs. and demonstrate good manual dexterity, including multi-limb coordination
  • Certified in Cummins, Freightliner, Mack, Volvo or equivalent dealership experience
