Job Title: Associate Field Service Representative

Are you a problem solver with a passion for customer service? Do you enjoy working in a dynamic environment with a team of dedicated professionals? We are seeking an Associate Field Service Representative to join our Power Services team at Schneider Electric.

About the Role:

This entry-level role is a mix of office and warehouse responsibilities, providing a great opportunity to gain field service experience and grow into a Power Field Service Representative. As an Associate Field Service Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Shop Organization and Maintenance: Oversee the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse and shop areas, implementing and maintaining efficient storage systems for hardware, parts, and equipment.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels of parts and hardware, coordinating with suppliers and vendors to order and receive new stock as needed.
  • Vehicle and Trailer Management: Oversee the maintenance and repair of company vehicles and trailers, scheduling and managing regular inspections and servicing to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Shipping and Receiving: Manage the shipping and receiving of parts and equipment, coordinating with the Order Management team and other FSR's on job-related inventory and logistics.
  • Communication and Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact between the warehouse and other departments, providing regular updates on inventory status, equipment availability, and any issues that affect operations.
  • Record Keeping and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, vehicle maintenance, test equipment, and shipping/receiving activities, ensuring proper documentation for all inventory and equipment transactions.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum High School Diploma
  • Vocational education, military training, or transferable experience in electronics, electrical theory, or similar discipline (a plus)
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office
  • Self-starter with the ability to work with little direct supervision to complete assigned tasks
  • The capacity to move service equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
