Compensation:
Salary range: $120,000 - $160,000 annually

Key Responsibilities:
  • Offer expert legal counsel on various labor and employment issues, including wage disputes, discrimination allegations, workplace harassment, retaliation claims, and wrongful termination cases.
  • Draft, review, and revise employment agreements, policies, and procedures to ensure adherence to legal standards and safeguard the organization’s interests.
  • Represent the organization in labor-related disputes and litigation, including the preparation of legal documents, negotiation of settlements, and court representation.
  • Conduct comprehensive investigations into employee grievances and misconduct allegations.
  • Work collaboratively with HR and management to devise effective strategies for labor relations and to minimize employment-related risks.
  • Stay informed on the latest trends and changes in labor and employment law, advising management on implications and necessary actions.
  • Provide training and guidance to HR and management on labor law compliance and best practices in employment.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law institution.
  • Active admission to the state bar.
  • Demonstrated experience in labor and employment law, preferably within the finance sector.
  • Proven track record as a Labor Law Attorney or Senior Employment Attorney.
  • In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local labor regulations.
  • Strong negotiation, advocacy, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • High level of professionalism and integrity, committed to maintaining the highest ethical standards.
  • Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple tasks, and deliver high-quality results under pressure.
  • Strong analytical skills, capable of interpreting complex legal information and providing clear, actionable advice.
