Salary range: $120,000 - $160,000 annually

About Us:
Our organization is looking for a proactive and experienced Labor & Employment Attorney who can provide comprehensive legal support in labor-related matters. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of labor and employment legislation and a successful history of delivering legal counsel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Offer expert legal advice on various labor and employment issues, including wage disputes, discrimination cases, workplace harassment, retaliation claims, and wrongful termination.
  • Draft and evaluate employment agreements, policies, and procedures to ensure adherence to legal standards and safeguard the organization’s interests.
  • Represent the organization in labor disputes and litigation, which includes preparing legal documentation, negotiating settlements, and advocating in court.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into employee grievances and allegations of misconduct.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources and management to devise and implement effective labor relations strategies and mitigate employment-related risks.
  • Stay informed on the latest trends and changes in labor and employment law, advising management on potential implications and necessary actions.
  • Provide training and guidance to HR and management on labor regulations and best practices in employment.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law institution.
  • Admission to the state bar.
  • Significant experience in labor and employment law, preferably within the finance sector.
  • Demonstrated expertise as a Labor Law Attorney or Senior Employment Attorney.
  • In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
  • Strong negotiation, advocacy, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • High level of professionalism and integrity, committed to maintaining the highest ethical standards.
  • Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple priorities, and produce high-quality work under tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills, capable of interpreting complex legal information and providing clear, actionable advice.
