Assistant Project Manager for Quality and Safety

POSITION SUMMARY

The Quality Control and Safety Project Coordinator will support the Project Manager in managing quality assurance and safety protocols, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations. Key duties include facilitating safety training sessions, conducting audits and inspections, as well as generating reports and maintaining quality assurance documentation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Facilitate safety training initiatives and perform audits
  • Evaluate workplace conditions for regulatory compliance
  • Generate quality control and safety reports
  • Investigate incidents and formulate prevention measures
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices
  • Maintain precise records and assist in the procurement of materials

REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 3 years of experience in quality assurance, safety, and operational management
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
  • OSHA Certification is advantageous

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK HOURS

This role may require light physical activity and extended hours, including weekends.

ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL

This position is deemed essential and may necessitate staff to remain on-site during emergencies.
