Territory Sales Manager

About the Role:
The Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for selling the Intracept technology and providing clinical and technical information to healthcare professionals and their patients to achieve sales objectives.
This role requires excellent product and procedure knowledge, business acumen, and proven sales processes to achieve results.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the pricing and reimbursement landscape relevant to products and be able to manage inventory and sample control processes.
Additionally, the Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for staying current with company communications through the use of technology and completing administrative responsibilities such as customer interactions through CRM, timely submission & management of expenses, and proficiencies in required trainings.
Responsibilities:
- Sell the Intracept technology to healthcare professionals and their patients
- Provide clinical and technical information to healthcare professionals and their patients
- Develop and execute territory business plan, resulting in achievement of assigned sales objectives
- Conduct clinical in-service training programs with appropriate customers
- Work with facility decision makers to ensure approved usage of products
- Manage inventory and sample control processes
- Stay current with company communications through the use of technology
- Complete administrative responsibilities
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required
- ~5+ years of outside sales / sales management experience, minimum of 2+ years of medical device quota-based sales experience
- ~ Demonstrated track record meeting and/or exceeding sales quotas
- ~ Will favor candidates with operating room experience, and prior success with new therapy introductions, and radiographic imaging
- ~ Demonstrated track record of sales performance
- ~ Clear understanding of med tech sales, territory management, and customer relationship management
- ~ Experience calling on hospital and ambulatory surgery centers (ASC)
- ~ Experience working in a challenging reimbursement environment
- ~ Able to build strong rapport and relate well to physicians, as well as hospital and ASC's clinical and economic decision makers
- Proficient with technology (email, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM software)
