Territory Sales Manager II

Cook MyoSite is seeking a Territory Sales Manager II to identify and build new customer relationships to deliver year-on-year revenue and pipeline opportunity growth targets.
Key Responsibilities- Generate new business from new customers through high-level customer contact, including frequent direct customer visits and extensive networking activities.
- Effectively promote current technical capabilities and emerging/new technologies to facilitate generation and closing of new business opportunities.
- Network and build trust-based relationships throughout target accounts from technical personnel to the executive level.
- Work with marketing, account managers, and product development to develop strategies that ensure MyoSite's position as the leading solutions provider.
- Establish internal networks with Commercial Development, SMEs.
- Negotiate contracts with increasing autonomy.
- Identify market trends, assess market potential, and develop strategies to grow market share using data from customer base/market and communicating effectively with internal stakeholders.
- Provide timely, industry-leading customer support and define and interface with internal resources when necessary.
- Understand the process from pre-clinical to clinical development.
- Able to influence without authority and collaborate across all levels of an organization (internal and external).
- High degree of business acumen to include standard competencies (financial, market positioning, healthcare industry, and customer) to enable sound decisions.
- Achieve business objectives for assigned territory (e.g., penetration of account with product/solution/service offerings).
- Develop, build, and cultivate long-term relationships with key management in the customer organization.
- Assist management in devising sales plans and strategies, develop forecasts, budgets, and operating plans for product sales channels.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Science discipline or equivalent through relevant work experience for Chemical synthesis, Chemistry, or Biochemistry.
- 3-5 years' experience in sales/business development, product development role such as program management, CMC lead, lead technologist for drug development candidates.

- Must be able to multitask.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software and other general office equipment.
- Basic understanding of cGMP, 21 CFR Part 11, and related regulations associated with Bio/Pharmaceutical product manufacturing.
- Ability to conduct and hear ordinary conversation and telephone communication.
- Must be able to work extended hours beyond normal work schedule to include, but not limited to, evenings, weekends, extended work hours, and/or extra work hours, sometimes on short notice as required.
- Ability to work under specific time constraints.
- Must be able to sit at desk, in meetings, and/or work on a computer for long or extended periods of time.
- Visual and manual acuity for working with computers and equipment.
50-75% Travel: Domestic
