Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Facility Maintenance Repair Technician II to join our team at Clean Harbors in Kimball, NE. This role is responsible for providing on-site maintenance and repairs to industrial processing equipment, ensuring the highest level of health and safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance activities, including pump rebuilds, preventative maintenance, and basic installations of pipe and electric work.
  • Conduct basic and intermediate level repairs and upkeep in welding, electrical, pipe fitting, mechanic, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Direct the activities of lower-level maintenance personnel on larger, more complex maintenance activities.
  • Work independently on facility projects and maintenance, ensuring all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
  • Operate a forklift if required and trained, and perform and document a daily safety check prior to use.
  • Review and understand all applicable SOPs and complete quizzes to ensure compliance.
  • Ensure area-specific permit required compliance standards are met, and understand Clean Compliance Standards.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Hydraulic system repair experience.
  • Industrial experience required.
  • Heavy equipment repair experience.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Ability to use a cutting rig.
  • Ability to successfully pass mechanical aptitude testing.
  • Proficient with computers and systems.
  • Knowledge of the industry's latest technology or experience working with electronics.
