This position reports to

Global Sales Manager

Your role and responsibilities

The Sales Engineer will play a crucial role in achieving and surpassing designated sales targets by cultivating and sustaining robust, productive relationships with clients. This includes effectively quoting, negotiating, closing, and overseeing substantial commercial construction projects, utilizing the comprehensive ABB ELSP, ELSB, and ELDS product ranges. While this is a remote position, successful candidates will be situated in a specified region. This role contributes to the Electrification Smart Buildings division in the United States. Your main responsibilities will include:
• Communicating with clients regarding details related to delivery timelines, payment terms, and general conditions, in alignment with ABB's offerings and strategies.
• Ensuring effective marketing initiatives and conveying the value proposition to clients.
• Identifying and spearheading the development of new market opportunities within the assigned sector.
• Managing administrative processes in sales operations and supporting cash collection and project management activities as required.

Qualifications for the role
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. Engineering degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of sales experience.
  • Proven knowledge of the electrical industry and ABB products.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license to visit clients.
  • Candidates must already have work authorization to be employed by ABB in the US.
