Position Title: Commercial Director of Engineering

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the design, development, and evaluation of HVAC systems for buildings.
  • Ensure compliance with customer specifications and industry regulations.
  • Guide the professional growth of the engineering team through recruitment, training, mentoring, and performance assessments.
  • Work collaboratively with various teams, including sales and field operations, to ensure project success.
  • Assess and address potential risks associated with products and projects.
  • Establish and manage project timelines and financial plans.
  • Maintain adherence to regulatory and industry guidelines.
  • Drive innovation in technology and product improvements.
  • Foster relationships with key clients, partners, and suppliers to explore new opportunities and stay informed on industry advancements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer in California.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the HVAC sector, particularly in retrofitting projects.
  • Demonstrated success in project management and team leadership.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, including their design, development, and testing.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

Compensation: Competitive salary range of $150,000 - $180,000 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
