Position Title: Commercial Director of Engineering

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the design, implementation, and evaluation of HVAC systems for buildings.
  • Guarantee that engineering outputs align with client specifications and adhere to industry regulations.
  • Supervise the growth and development of the engineering team, including recruitment, training, mentoring, and performance assessments.
  • Work collaboratively with various departments, including sales and field operations, to ensure project success.
  • Recognize and address potential risks associated with products and projects.
  • Formulate and uphold project timelines and financial plans.
  • Ensure adherence to all applicable regulatory and industry standards.
  • Drive innovation through the development of new technologies and enhancements to existing products.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and suppliers, to explore new business opportunities and stay informed on industry advancements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer in California.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in the HVAC sector, particularly in retrofit projects.
  • Demonstrated success in managing projects and leading teams.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, including their design, development, and testing.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving work environment.
