Business Development Representative

As a Business Development Representative at Aureon, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and driving business growth. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect for new sales opportunities through lead validation and marketing campaign review.
- Interact with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions.
- Identify and quote necessary products and services.
- Coordinate client needs and provide excellent customer service.
- Research and prepare quotes for new business opportunities.
- Liaise with vendors and internal resources to ensure successful project completion.
- Perform initiative-taking tasks on behalf of clients, including invoice review and renewal planning.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor pricing.
- Maintain knowledge of Aureon products and services to effectively add value to clients.
- Meet sales targets and report daily activity.
Requirements
- 1+ year of experience in inside or outside sales or sales support.
- Preferred knowledge of the telecommunications industry.
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong trouble resolution and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
Tools and Equipment
- Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Salesforce, and ConnectWise.
Working Conditions
- Primarily indoor work in an office environment.
- Frequent utilization of manual dexterity and visualizing of a computer screen.
