Job Summary:The Director, Student-Athlete Development, Women's Basketball will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of programs and services that support the academic, personal, and professional growth of our student-athletes. This includes working closely with the head coach, assistant coaches, and other support staff to ensure that our student-athletes receive the best possible support to achieve their goals.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement programs and services that support the academic, personal, and professional growth of student-athletes.
- Work closely with the head coach, assistant coaches, and other support staff to ensure that student-athletes receive the best possible support.
- Collaborate with other departments and units across the university to ensure that student-athletes have access to the resources and support they need to succeed.
- Develop and maintain relationships with alumni, donors, and other stakeholders to support the success of our student-athletes.
- Provide guidance and support to student-athletes on academic and personal issues.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with NCAA regulations and university policies.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of programs and services and make recommendations for improvement.
- Bachelor's degree and three years of experience in student-athlete development, academic support, or a related field.
- Experience working with student-athletes in a higher education setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage competing deadlines.

This is an exempt position with non-traditional work hours and travel expected. The expected pay range for this position is $90,000 to $99,000 per annum. Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs.
