Senior Director of Development, Eberly College of Science

Penn State is seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to serve as the Senior Director of Development for the Eberly College of Science. This individual will be responsible for engaging alumni and friends as partners in supporting the college's mission and goals.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in securing major gifts and meeting fundraising goals. They will also have a dedication to and understanding of the skills required to build relationships with diverse communities, as well as demonstrated knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion in higher education.
The Senior Director of Development will supervise, train, and mentor a team of fundraisers, alumni relations professionals, and support staff, with a sustained focus on fostering inclusive relationships that yield meaningful results. They will also develop annual goals, plans, and budgets for a comprehensive, strategy-driven fundraising program.
This position requires a bachelor's degree or higher and 10+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years of supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

This position is based at the University Park campus, located in State College, Pennsylvania. State College is ranked among the lowest-stress and safest small cities in the country, with excellent public schools, beautiful parks and other natural assets, and a broad range of cultural and athletic events and venues.
The salary range for this position, including all possible grades is: $123,000.00 - $191,000.00. Salary Structure - additional information on Penn State's job and salary structure.
