Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair DC power systems, inverters, and battery storage solutions.
- Conduct testing and troubleshooting of electrical, satellite, microwave, and pneumatic systems to identify and resolve issues.
- Prepare detailed quotes for repairs and installations based on thorough assessments of electronic systems.
- Collaborate with suppliers to gather pricing and component availability for project needs.
- Support the invoicing process by providing accurate breakdowns of services rendered.
- Ensure compliance with industry codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems, including cleaning and replacing components as necessary.
- Work closely with other technicians and project managers to implement electrical upgrades and projects.
- Maintain comprehensive records, including schematics and technical manuals.
- Stay updated on advancements in electrical technology and industry trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field preferred; an Associate's Degree is required.
- 2-3 years of experience in the installation and maintenance of DC power systems and related technologies.
- Experience in preparing quotes and responding to proposals in an electronics context.
- Project Management experience is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of electrical theory, codes, and regulations.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and interpreting technical documentation.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
