Job Title: Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer

Cardiology Consultants of Philadelphia is a leading medical organization dedicated to delivering exceptional cardiology care. We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at our Upland, PA office.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will perform transthoracic echocardiograms and stress echoes under the supervision of physicians and clinical supervisors. They will maintain echo lab protocols, meet accreditation standards, and effectively operate machinery to prepare preliminary echo updates in the electronic medical record (EMR).

Responsibilities
  • Perform transthoracic echocardiograms and stress echoes
  • Maintain echo lab protocols and meet accreditation standards
  • Operate machinery to prepare preliminary echo updates in EMR
  • Notify physicians of new significant abnormal findings
  • Perform daily, monthly, and annual care and maintenance of ultrasound equipment
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and report malfunctions to the Lead Echo Tech or Philips Service
  • Check email daily for open communication with other CCP staff
  • Respect patients' right to privacy and confidentiality
Requirements
  • Registered/Certified Echo Technician
  • At least 3 years of experience
  • Ability to multitask
  • Computer knowledge
  • Experience with EMR system (a plus)
