Customer Service Representative

**Comprehensive Cardiology Care Team Member**
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a full-time phone operator at our Crozer Hospital office. As a key member of our cardiology care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our patients and healthcare professionals.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Respond to and manage incoming phone calls in a timely and professional manner.
- Record and communicate messages accurately and efficiently, utilizing medical terminology and abbreviations as needed.
- Route emergency calls to the appropriate personnel.
- Page individuals to inform them of incoming calls, utilizing paging and interoffice communication equipment.
- Maintain an up-to-date listing of physician contact information.
- Perform various clerical duties, including typing, proofreading, and scheduling appointments.
- Utilize our electronic medical record system to document patient information and communicate with healthcare professionals.
**Requirements:**
- Previous experience in a medical office setting, preferably in cardiology.
- Excellent multitasking and communication skills.
- Proficiency in computer software and electronic medical record systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
