Cardiac Sonographer

Cardiology Consultants of Philadelphia is a leading medical organization dedicated to delivering exceptional cardiology care. We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at our Upland, PA office.

The successful candidate will perform transthoracic echocardiograms and/or stress echoes under the supervision of physicians and clinical supervisors. Key responsibilities include maintaining echo lab protocols, meeting accreditation standards, and effectively operating machinery to prepare preliminary echo updates in the electronic medical record (EMR).

• Perform transthoracic echocardiograms and/or stress echoes
• Maintain echo lab protocols and meet accreditation standards
• Effectively operate machinery and prepare preliminary echo updates in EMR
• Notify physicians in a timely manner of any new significant abnormal findings
• Perform daily, monthly, and annual care and maintenance of ultrasound equipment
• Troubleshoot potential equipment problems and report malfunctions to the Lead Echo Tech or Philips Service
• Check email daily for open communication with other CCP staff
• Respect patients' right to privacy and confidentiality

• Registered/Certified Echo Technician
• At least 3 years of experience
• Ability to multitask
• Computer knowledge
• Experience with EMR system (a plus)
